GO-HOME DETAILS

Each puppy goes home with a folder filled with goodies.  A snuggle blanket that smells like their mom and litter mates for comfort and a small start of the puppy food we feed.  Each puppy gets a folder with all the details you will need at your first vet appointment.  It contains his or her vet records and vaccine information.  Also included are instructions for activating your puppies implanted microchip.  We require you to take your puppy to the vet within three days of going home.

We feed our dogs and puppies Life's Abundance All Life's Stages dog food.  You can order it at www.lifesabundance.com/Littlelovefamilyfarms.  We set up autoship and we never lug heavy bags home from the store.  This dog food is very nutritious and we have seen many benefits from using it.  Our dogs and puppies have shinier coats and we have noticed reduced/ more solid output since we have started feeding Life's Abundance.  (This is a definite win when potty training!).  We recommend buying at least one bag to get your puppy started.  Transition can be stressful for your puppy and one familiar thing can be very comforting to them during this time.  If you wish to transition them to a different food, please do so slowly.

Also included in the go home packet is information about a free 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.  Trupanion will cover 90% of anything that is not considered wellness care.  You do not need to provide a credit card to activate the offer so we HIGHLY encourage everyone to activate the offer.  We will send you our breeder code the week of go-home.  **You must activate the offer within 24 hours of picking up your puppy.**

We also email out an information sheet with helpful tips for bringing home a new puppy.  This time of transition can be stressful for both you and your new little one.  Your puppy is leaving the only life they have ever known.  You are entering the life of raising a brand new puppy.  There will be accidents.  There may be frustrations.  But soon enough you will look back and wonder how they got so big!  Give them grace.  Give yourself grace, and enjoy their sweet little stage for what it is.

Now go out there and love your baby dog like there is no tomorrow!
